1. Descent of the Lesse in a kayak

Take the train Paliseul - Houyet. The kayak descent till Anseremme (21km) takes a starts in Houyet. In Anseremme you can take the train back to Paliseul.

2. Excursion to Bouillon

Known as the "Pearl of the Semois valley" Bouillon is without doubt the most important and most attractive tourist center of the Semois valley. You can enjoy a tour in a touristic train. During the tour, you will receive information in different languages. After about 40 minutes the train stops at the fort where you will enjoy a splendid view over the entire city of Bouillon. Its fortified medieval castle, perfectly preserved, continues to watch over the town. The castle is entered over three drawbridges. The main courtyard  then leads to the ducal palace with its 13th century Salle Godefroy de Bouillon. From there visitors climb up to the top of the 16th century Tour d'Autriche for a breathtaking panorama of the town and river, before they walk back via the torture chamber, citerns and dungeons, and past from the 65m/213ft deep well Shaft. Avisit to the fort is a must. Enjoy this historical site, It's falcon spectacle and its museum.

The region offers multiple walking/hiking routes for lovers of nature and tranquility. There is a great choice for everyone's taste (woods, rivers, highs, valleys, gps tracks, ...) 

4. Descent of the Semois by kayak

The descent starts in Bouillon. Compared to the lesse, the Semois is very calm, a must for nature lovers. The organizers provide in Poupehan, final point of the descent, transportation back to Bouillon.
